Corporate Intern

Position Description:

The IB Corporate Intern is a pro-active and important member of the IB team. Coordinating multiple projects and working with IB staff and members of the executive team, the IB Corporate Intern works on various administrative assignments. Responsibilities include database organization and entry, Excel and database reporting as needed, projects as needed for the Vice President of Logistics and Procurement, customer service inquiries, along with general administrative projects as necessary.

This paid internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about corporate fundamentals such as reporting, business correspondence and database management, while gaining practical experience utilizing business software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Key Skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook applications
• Ability to demonstrate a high degree of quality and accuracy
• Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
• Ability to develop detailed reports and provide analysis when necessary
• Critical thinking and ability to problem solve efficiently and effectively
• Superior project management and time management skills

Educational Requirements

Pursuing a degree or professional certification in business administration, marketing or related areas.

Internship Hours

Days and hour blocks can be flexible according to school schedule, but at least 3 days per week and 3-hour block increments are required. International Beams has an operation schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
